This instrument is designed and made as per industrial standard T0719-2011 Wheel Track Test for Bituminous Materials in JTG E20-2011 Standard Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixtures for Highway Engineering. It is used to determine the wheel track resistance property of bituminous mixtures under high temperature condition(Immersed in water or not immersed in water),determine the high temperature stability of the bituminous mixtures at site.
I. Main technical features
1. The instrument with the floor type,adopts PC control technology,automatic temperature control during testing
process,self-clocking,real-time displaying the displacement of wheel track,and self-recording the displacement
curve,printing out the report.
2.Displaying the variation curves of time and displacement,time and temperature during the test,it can supply the practical
evidence for the research and development institutions to study the characteristics of bituminous mixtures wheel-track.
3.The instrument can do the test at the temperature range 45℃~85℃,wheel-pressure at 0.7MPa,standard test period: 60
mins.
4. It equips an absolute temperature sensor,uses the PWM adjusted method to control the temperature,the temperature
with high stability,no overswing and no temperature drift during long time test.
5.Adopting high precision A/D(16 bits),D/A(16bits) modules to ensure that displacement measurement and temperature
control are accuracy and resolution ratio.The constant temperature tank use the external circular heating method to
make sure the uniform temperature.
