This instrument is designed and made as per standards GB/T 11143 Standard test method for rust-preventing characteristics of inhibited mineral oil in the presence of water and ASTM D665 Standard Test Method for Rust-Prevent Characteristics of Inhibited Mineral Oil in the Presence of Water. It is suitable to determine the ability of inhibited mineral oils, particularly steam-turbine oils, to aid in preventing the rusting of ferrous parts should water become mixed with oil. It can also be used to determine other oils,such as hydraulic oils, circulating oils and heavier-than -water fluids.
I. Main technical features
1. It adopts digital temperature controller, heater and stirring motor to form the constant temperature bath. The
temperature in bath is uniform.
2. It equips a timer to control test time and automatic timing.
3. It equips four sample testing holes. It can do determine four samples at the same time. The test efficiency is high.
