Portable Ozone Meter
1.Product Introduction
1.1 Test Principle
In the presence of potassium iodide, ozone can react with DPD (N,N-diethyl -p-phenylenediamine) indicator to form a pink color, which is proportional to the ozone concentration.
1.2 Applied Range
The colorimeter can be used to measure the concentration of ozone in all kinds of water disinfected by ozone. The LCD display the concentration of ozone directly, the unit is mg/L.

2.Attentions
1. To insure the accuracy of test results, please use the same test tube when zero adjustment and sample analysis.
2. Let the tset tube stand for 30s before read the test result.(to wait for the disappearance of air bubble and the sedimentation of solid granule)
3. Inder to prolong the working life of batteries, please press and hold the power key to turn the pocket chromometer off.
4. If there is solid or liquid in cell holder, wipe it and then put test tube into the cell holder.
5. If the battery icon begins to twinkle, change the batteries first and then continue test.
6. Clean test tube and cap after test. If the test tube is contaminated, add detergent into the tube and then shake for 15s. The detergent is gotten by mixing the HCl (1+3) and ethanol at the ratio of 1:1. Please do not wash test tube with a brush! To keep clean, the test tube can be soaked in deionized water when it is not used.

4. 4 batteries of 1.5V;
5. A instruction book;
6. A certificate of qualification;
7. Some lens paper;
8. A carrying case
4.Prouct Validity Check
4.1 Visual Check
The ozone reagent should be white or light gray powder. It means the reagent quality has deteriorated if agglomerate or turn to brown.
4.2 Instrument Check
After zero with pure water, add a pack of ozone reagent; shake to dissolve and then test result according to Test Method (2.3). Generally speaking, the test result should be 0.00 ; It indicates the reagent quality has deteriorated severely if the test result is over 0.03 ; If the test result is not 0.00 but no more than 0.02, it shows that the reagent quality deteriorated slightly and users can continue use the reagent in rough test (or deduct reagent blank value in accurate test).
The deterioration of reagent quality will bring positive error to test result.
